I've been on it for years because it's an off label anti-inflammatory. I had a naturopath ask me to look into it and see if I wanted to try it. I was already on low dose naltrexone for my hives but would occasionally get other random reactions like my lips looking like I'd just gotten filler.
My current doc is the traditional sort but cool. He diagnosed me with type 2 beetus so I could get it covered by insurance.
The side effects at first, for me were nausea, but after about a week that was gone.
