I believe ingested capsinthin ( the shit that makes nightshades red) causes the esophageal lining to become inflamed and disrupted (eventually causing cancer), causing a pain that Zantac masked.
Kinda like saying bandaids cause scarring. No, the cut the bandaid was helping caused scaring, not the thing that covered it up.

Agreed. But there are many sellers too. They just make them expensive. Simple recipes are not too bad. But the up front cost might keep many out.
