They've already lost the control they need. There are enough people that don't believe the hype anymore that they can't regain that control they had the first few months. That won't stop them from trying, though. Even the people I know who are very trusting of the vaccine and government are saying they're not getting more vaccines because now it's very clear that the death rate is very, very low.

A friend still on Facebook said most are against the vax mandate (even those vaxxed) and very skeptical of a booster shot. I think this is losing steam. Granted Ohio is still a relatively sane part of America. I'm sure the east and west coasters are still eating the BS up.
Yes. Even here in mask mandate land 'o the middle, I don't see many people wearing them. Even those who are gung-ho on it are starting to see it's not really as bad as they're told it is.
