Mushroom chocolates sound like the most nauseating thing I have ever heard of!
They would help prevent your stomach getting upset from eating mushrooms on an empty stomach, but the issues are they lose potency faster overtime, and you don't know the how much they put in there. Better getting dried mushrooms and make your own chocolates if that is what you want to do. Even better, grow your own and eat them fresh!
Putting them in an omelet is another way to prevent upset stomach.
Salvia divinorum in small doses also helps with depression.
Salvia divinorum
whoah no way, I had to look that up, because I know we have some kind of salvia growing in our planter, it came with the house! And it's that one!
Pretty blue flowers. Smells awful, though. How is it used? As a tea or something? I might look that up sometime.
Oh in large doses it is very intense. Powerful stuff. Most commonly the extract (available in different strengths 5x, 10x, 15x, ...) is smoked. This guy makes a great tincture: http://sagewisdombotanicals.com/
I was smoking very small amounts in the morning, just enough to get my heart rate up really. Made my days brighter when I was down. I got a very precision scale to try to measure doses, but they were so light I ended up just estimating a couple flakes.
Interesting plant, only found naturally on one place on the planet. There are some videos on the net of people taking a large dose and freaking out, one dude jumped out a window. Use respectively :)
Yeah, I just read up on it and you sound spot on. Too much will break your brain! Blog I looked at said no more than six leaves, and that sounds like A LOT, probably, but I guess he meant as a total maximum. Or his leaves are smaller than ours. Or that is just the right amount, but I'd err on the side of ... just the very least amount. Or not do it at all and continue to appreciate the pretty blue flowers.
That last thing is what I did.
My wife gave some asshole my last spore card I had saved though, so that's that. That particular strain never made me feel yucky even, but being fresh and grown in clean substrate might help.
I got an outdoor patch of p. cyanescens, I usually eat some fresh ones every fall :)
Last two falls have been horrible weather. Gotten way too cold and the pins freeze. This year I didn't get any at all. Probably will rework it in the Spring to liven it up.
Oh wow! I guess with just the right conditions, the mycelium still just live out there all the time and grant you some shrooms when it wants to!
I'd worry about contamination but I worry about things. I kept ours in really clean jars with rice and vermiculite [and moisture] in a really clean box inside of a really clean closet and if any sign of contamination was seen that jar went down the trash chute. Because we were in a big fancy faggoty building that had trash chutes then.
I could just eat one and lay back in bed and marvel at how cool the cracks in the ceiling looked. Or play World of warcraft and not be able to actually DO anything aside from marvelling at the pretty colors and stuff. It really did help me de-aggro... probably too much at times.
