This kind of shit really pisses me off. It will create a black market that is less safe than regulating the product. Most likely, stores will sell unflavored vape juice and sell flavorings right next to it with a warning that says "Do not mix these 2 products, that is illegal!"

Kind of like how head shops will have a sign saying "for tobacco use only" right next to the weed pipes and bongs.

That doesn't mean the government needs to step in and ban adults from making the choice to put a toxic chemical into their body.

The problem is that the people that are getting sick are getting sick because they're using shitty THC cartridges they buy on the street or are buying toxic Chinese knockoffs they buy in crappy corner stores or order online by sites that don't verify and send wherever and to whomever.

Vaping has been around for a while with no deaths, the popularity of JUUL has made it lucrative for the Chinese to do what they do, flood the market with knockoffs that are made from whatever is cheapest, no matter how dangerous it is.
