The problem is that the people that are getting sick are getting sick because they're using shitty THC cartridges they buy on the street or are buying toxic Chinese knockoffs they buy in crappy corner stores or order online by sites that don't verify and send wherever and to whomever. Vaping has been around for a while with no deaths, the popularity of JUUL has made it lucrative for the Chinese to do what they do, flood the market with knockoffs that are made from whatever is cheapest, no matter how dangerous it is.
