For the TLDR, it's the bullshit phenylephrine that they tried to pass off for pseudoephedrine since the Bush "war on meth" back in the early 2000s. Basically, if you want something that might actually work, you have to sign your life away at the druggist to get pseudoephedrine or just don't take anything at all.

And pseudoephedrine replaced the natural ephedrine because the big pharma companies didn't like that small companies could make money off of ephedrine.

And both were massive for black market homemade meth/ crack, here in NZ. Which was one of the main reasons they moved to substitute for phenylephrine.

By the time we “made the move” meth production had already shifted to Mexico.

Now that the cartels control the entire meth market we’ve been allowed to purchase it again in certain amounts.

This year's cold/ flu they infected everyone with is nasty this year with a really high contagion rate and horrible symptoms.

I wish we could get the entire flu shot industry to go away, none of us would be sick anymore imho
