What is with putting guar gum, a thickening agent, in everything?
Don't know much about it myself. Had a quick read of an article (healthline.com), seems a relatively harmless thickening agent with possibly some health benefits. What are your thoughts?
I think it makes everything taste chewy or gummy. Don't like it but it doesn't seem harmful. Just a way for companies to give you less of the product and more of a substitute. If youve seen those drumstick ice-creams that don't melt, that's bc of guar gum. Pretty much every milk product has it now. Yogurt, ice-cream, cheese
