I'm not advocating for anything, just answering the question.
I would say alcohol is much worse. I've seen people completely fuck up their lives from booze, everything from liver failure to killing or being killed from drunk driving or doing something very stupid like trying to slide down the rail on a grand staircase, and falling 50 feet to their death.
I don't even know of anyone who fucked their life up from doing weed. Yes, yes, personal anecdote. But I'd rather deal with someone who is high and just wants to eat junk food than someone who is drunk and wants to fight.
Ill agree with most of that. However, with it being "legal" in many states a lot of new info is coming out. Apparently it (weed) can trigger all kinds of psychological problems that people didn't know about before.
I also have had the misfortune to know a couple of people that think its perfectly ok to drive while they are high as fuck. They call it "Driving under influence" Not "Driving drunk" for a reason. There have been multiple studies that show smoking pot impairs you in driving but I have known pot heads that will argue to hell and back that they are "Fine driving high". Sure you are buddy, until you kill yourself, someone else or just total your car.
It just pisses me off that the "pot crowd" are like "its not as bad as being drunk". Well that may be true for some people.. It is still impaired and I don't want to be the person you crash into because your reaction time is shit because you are high as fuck.
