Outstanding! I did Intermittent FEASTing OMAD for a few years with frequent 48/72/94 extend-a-fasts chasing that Autophagy Dragon. Fresh foods only and very little sugars. Once you break free from that ghrelin/insulin "hunger" cycle, the rest is easy. Habituating your body to efficiently process fats (via a strict legit keto cycle), carbs or protein opens the door to metabolic flexibility, which helps even more. The discipline you employ to accomplish fasting familiarity benefits other aspects of life - emotional, mental, physical, psychological and spiritual.

As I age, I have discovered that my body responds better to a wider protein intake window, so I've spread feeding time to 6ish hours with protein being my primary macro. Carni-centric diet. Meats, particularly undulates, make up the majority of my caloric intake. Eggs, Dairy and the occasional fruit or random veggie (usually lactofermented) round out the menu. Seems to be working for me.

That's bad ass that you're dialed in and forging your own personalized path. I am of the firm opinion that this world would be a much cooler place if everyone assumed that level of ownership and responsibility.

I've started fasting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So it comes to something like 36 hours or so. It becomes hard for me late at night but at that point I just tell myself I have a couple hours before bed anyway and just to deal.

I started it hoping to encourage my bf to do it as well. I he's got a different set of health problems from me but the fasting should help the both of us in the long run. He usually ends up snacking on meat and cheese in the evening but it seems to be helping even with the 'cheat' for him. His blood sugar has improved a bit and it's only been 3 weeks and he's dropped 10 pounds. I have dropped 5 but my weight is a lot more stubborn and I don't have as far to go as he does.

Meat and cheese are great snacks. Hard boiled eggs and mushroom are also low calorie high nutrient

I've been doing some serious thinking about fasting for spiritual purposes. I've never fasted before. I'm not sure how well I could do so. I'm the skinniest fat boy there ever was. I worry me and my tape work may not make it if it fast.

I eat 2 times a day. Unfortunately I love rice crispies, honey nut cheerios and butter bread.

I'm not going to eat meat at breakfast. I usually have egg whites and one egg a lot of leafy greens little bit of butter bread Rice Krispies and Honey Nut Cheerios.
