Nothing better than an ice bath for 15 minutes, 15 minute break, then switch to a hot Epsom salt bath. Instant muscle relief.

Relaxation time. A tightened muscle group can benefit from a hot bath. Long distance runners can benefit from an ice bath. Females at the right time of the month can benefit from a hot bath. It can relieve some of their PMS symptoms.

I like baths for relaxing and reading but that's just me. I light some candles, turn off the lights, and read my kindle in the tub with some Epsom salts and baking soda. I find it relaxing. It used to be the only time I had mostly to myself, although my ex used to complain about it when I did it. Now I do it when I'm stressed out and it helps me calm down.
