They are not psycho active so it's like a different version of Advil+valerian root. Not sure why the stigma. Other cultures use Kava Kava.
Correct. No THC, so it's not going to get you stoned. More effective pain killer than common OTC products such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen, and with much fewer downsides than opioids.
I've heard consistently positive remarks from friends with rheumatoid arthritis where acetaminophen and ibuprofen weren't sufficient anymore, and they weren't desperate enough to switch to daily opioids. Not a wunderdrug, but if you can delay opioid use for chronic pain by a decade or two it's a literal lifesaver.
I have a friend that has a CBD lotion for joint pain. They say it works really well and they swear by it. I haven't tried it but maybe ill get some in the future. I like the idea a lot more than taking a pain killer.
