What disservice does it do to point at a specific time date?

The disservice is presenting data that are easy to dismiss. It's self-reported (probably by women lol) and therefore, as much as I agree with the conclusion it supports, the reporting is subject to hype and the fears of the people reporting it.

I'm sure data are available from doctors and hospitals that support the same conclusion (which is already obvious given how we know spike proteins accumulate in the ovaries and how menstrual changes are a well-known side effect of the clot shot) but are more likely to mean something.

How?

The data don't show a spike in miscarriages but rather a spike in the number reporting them through VAERS. It could mean that the same number of women are having miscarriages but a larger portion of them are blaming it on the COVID vaccine, for example.

I think miscarriages have gone up because of the vaccine, but showing people this chart and saying "see, a spike in miscarriages" is pitching a softball to the government believer people.

Why is there a spike only around 2021/22 then?

Dude, even their own peer reviewed studies show that VAERS is under reported by at least 100 fold.

Like I said, the conclusion you're using this screenshot to support is obviously right. The vax kills people, causes miscarriages, etc. Duh right?

But this image in the OP is a weak argument.
