I felt like sharing this from , who sent it to me awhile ago.

"I have only see one thing that purported to actually bind to the spike protein itself... everything else I have seen functions by inhibiting the virus itself. With the Vax there is no virus, just the spike.

Van Breemen and collaborators, including scientists at Oregon Health & Science University, found that a pair of cannabinoid acids bind to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein

The compounds are cannabigerolic acid, or CBGA, and cannabidiolic acid, CBDA

Please note that you CAN NOT get CBGA or CBDA into your system by smoking weed. When heated (smoked) CBGA or CBDA decarboxylate into CBG and CBD. CDGA is also only found in very small amounts in raw plant material. You MUST get a supplement that has extracted and concentrated the CBGA and CBDA.

Good luck"

However people have been consuming (smoking) cannabis to get these anti-seizure effects for over a hundred years. When consumed using a vaporizer (a much more modern approach), the heat is not only reduced to the point where oils only vaporize and don't burn, but also there are significant areas where heat is not even enough to vaporize the oils for quite some time. Significant amounts of material go through a gradual heating from room temp to ~400F over a few minutes. So it really depends on the specific vapor points of these compounds and whether/what percent vaporizes before decarboxylation. Is there a separate scientific article available that backs up your conclusion that all CBGA/CBDA is 100% destroyed by heating? If so what temperature range? I believe you are correct that if someone wants to pursue this, a pure supplement is a good way to go. That is good advice. However I question whether the statement of not getting CBGA/CBDA into your system by smoking is correct, especially now that vaporizing flowers is quite common. My 2 cents.

Good question, thanks. As I mentioned, I give credit to Buddha's Touch who sent that to me as a message in response to a post I'd made. I would ask him but unfortunately he no longer posts here.

I'm interested in hearing that answer too. It does make sense that literally burning the flower would cause it to lose alot of its medicinal properties. (edit:) i wonder if warming it up in tea causes it to lose any of its properties.
