I live in a sober house my man.
How are you doing on your road to recovery? You've been away from Poal for a while.
Some days are good, some days are bad. I really miss the way my brain functioned on alcohol.
The house manager just relapsed on meth. Another housemate left, and while he hadn't relapsed, he made it seemed pretty clear that he was planning on relapsing that night. Meanwhile I live with a finance kike and an Argentinian door to door salesmen, and the new roommate I just got.
The new roommate is actually pretty cool, much older semi-retired navy guy who works for a defense contractor. He is exceptionally witty and sarcastic, and has great comedic timing. Everytime I talk with him I just think about how much fun it would be to grab a drink with him.
My brain has pretty much gone to shit since I stopped drinking. I'm in the process of trying to readjust my thought patterns with CBT. I have some hope for it, but alcohol was that magical elixir that granted clarity, until it didn't.
Would be good if you could find someone there who is dedicated to not to relapse so you can back each other up during tough days.
Time will heal everything, you just need to let it do it's work.
Have you tried any natural remedies/supplements to help you with brain clarity?
