Have you tried any natural remedies/supplements to help you with brain clarity?

Yeah, I am on lion's mane, NAC, glycine, calcium AKG, creatine, and magnesium. I was prescribed gabapentin, that didn't really do shit, tried some phenibut as well, also didn't do shit.

The only thing that sort of works is the CBT. But alcohol worked wayyyy better than anything. I just have to come to terms with the fact that I will never operate on that high of a level again.

You might also look up l-theanine, very powerful anti-stress/focus supplement often used by people recovering from withdrawal.

How did alcohol help you in the first place? For me it just helps me to relax and sleep when I can't.

Clears the brain, stops me from overthinking.

In that case you should really consider L-theanine, might be just the thing you need. No side effects or withdrawal and you can use it daily.

Just an amino acid extracted from the tea plan, it's what gives it that calming effect.
