Yes, I believe the powder works, too. And in fact, that is what most of the chatter is about. I just figured, of my own accord, that it's best to get it from the source in its original form. The less processed something is, the better, imho. Can't find any recommendations on dosage, though. I do find if I skip a few days, I notice my lower back hurting more.

I have genetic arthritis in my sacroliliac and hips and shoulders. Just found out a couple months ago but have had it since I was a kid. It's so nice to hear that all the doctors told me to take tylenol and never did the blood test for this ever. I went to the va and two women figured it out in less than 5 minutes and I got the medication a few days later in the mail.
