Plenty examples where better tech and masterful planning have failed miserably. Afghanistan and Iraq being recent examples. Can’t compare that to the long, long term planners who insidiously weave their way into societies bringing about death by a thousand cuts.
Afghanistan and iraq started to turn into abject failures the moment the US decided to turn those countries into democracies
It's that moment when the US planners lose their fucking minds; when thy start getting involved into nation building and democracy and shit, it always results into a disaster
As long as the plan is limited to punctual military interventions, it's fine, that the US can do, but the moment it goes nation building you know it's going to be absolute shit of biblical proportions
It's when it goes into the nation building
It goes into nation building to both demoralize the fighting man and drain even more resources pin’d upon the taxpayer while financing our doom by a thousand cuts.
Yes and not only, it also goes into grand ideas of nation building out of hubris and mass delusion
Take the public for instance, with all the talks of bringing democracy and freedom and shit to poor oppressed people blablabla, they loved it for years, they thaught it was a great idea, what america was all about...
Reality is that their good intents are our fucking hell. Take immigration and gvt assistance programs, it's pretty much the same deal; "we want to help" said the legions of bleeding hearts and cat ladies always vastly outnumbering the realists...
The "art" of ideological subversion, is all about making things go overboard, things that already exist, that are already there and you push them and encourage them to destabilize. There's a defect your worsen the defect until it becomes a flaw in a nutshell
