What kind of Iodine did you get?
I got one from a local manufacturer with decent reviews, claims to have 750-1k ug in a daily dose (2 pills).
That a bit of a low dose 1000 ug = 1mg and what people usually get is 5% Lugol's Iodine solution and take at lest one drop per day in a glass of water.
According to manufacturer that would amount to 6.25 mg per drop.
I have no experience with iodine in pills and would not take more than recommended since pill usually come with additional substances, but when you are done taking them you might want to consider upgrading to 5% Lugol's Iodine.

That's what I did at first, I tried to look it up online, but we don't seem to have it here (the best we get is a "throat spray" thingy), and ordering it from another country is too much of an investment. I'll try to find something similar, I remember there was a some sort of drinkable solution for iodine.
