In light of the recent spate of mass shooters, i've been thinking about this......

glyphosate is the chemical name for roundup weedkiller, widely used in industrial farming throughout the us. it is everywhere in our food supply. interestingly it's legal to use in the us, but outlawed in europe.

we know glyphosate can cause cancer -but did you know about the other harmful effects? glyphosate penetrates the blood brain barrier and hits the brain receptors responsible for modulating excitement and calm. these receptors become highly charged with glutamate, overwhelming the offsetting gaba chemical that calms you. this hyper excitability can lead to all types of mental illness from anxiety to schizophrenia. if left untreated, the brain hyperexcitability can lead to alzheimers.

I'm terrible at looking for specific articles or maybe they are just harder to find now... Anyway, I read a published study from National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) a few weeks ago stating people in Central US had more glyphosate in their urine than anywhere else in the US.
