Viruses are not dose dependent. The virus eventually multiplies and infects to the same degree. In theory a higher dose would slightly decrease the incubation period but a much bigger factor is your immune response. If the warhead is altering your DNA it can only do that once per cell. So it's not the same as a toxin that builds up and does more and more damage.
