never said can eat anything and be healthy, just that one could eat anything and lose weight simply by adhering to a calorie deficit.
and many people are eating way too many calories. these fat tubs of shit walking around at 600 pounds didn't get there without putting down 5,000 calories+ a day for months to years, regardless of the quality of the food. this isn't a 'calorie cult' problem, it's a no willpower and 'can't stop shoveling caloricly desne goyslop into their mouths' problem.
The point is that your body is biologically unable to add fat without insulin. It's like trying to make fire without oxygen.
