I im good physical shape, I enjoy running three times a week and weight training so I'm not fat. I only eat twice a day, in the mid-morning and then early afternoon. I just keep shoveling the food down and I'm always filled with indigestion and I feel bloated because of it. I think I lack severe willpower just to pull back and not add that extra portion. Anyone have any ideas on how to calm my cravings down?

I was in somewhat decent shape. Put on a good 15lb+ overeating. Winter ain’t an excuse. Stress from work isn’t either, as working out fixes that. Well just bein sedentary, drinkin and eating. Unseasonably warm here, gonna walk my fatass a bunch of miles and get back on track. Lost a ton of strength too, have to stretch tons to lift. Ah well, easy “comfort” costs ya.

I think you're right. I think I comfort eat. And someone had said earlier that that's probably because I'm craving sugar. I just don't know what to eat for breakfast. I love having eggs and greens with a little bit of cheese and bread but that's not going to be enough to hold me over till my afternoon so maybe there's some sort of affordable and tasty alternative that doesn't have a pile of sugar in it..

Think of your metabolism like a fire. Sugars and grains are like throwing paper into the fire; it flares up big but dies out quickly. Proteins and fats are like adding a log to the fire; sustainable, long term energy.

If you cut out the sugars and breads then your body only has proteins and fats to burn for energy which by default will make your body and mind less interested in consuming large amounts, because it doesn’t feel the need to flare up its energy as much as possible at each sitting.

The first day or two you may feel that eggs and cheese and greens aren’t holding you over until your next meal (your body is still holding onto glucose reserves that it’s using for that quick energy), but by the third or fourth day those reserves are depleted and you might even end up feeling like you have to force yourself to eat your second meal because you still aren’t hungry. And it’s very difficult to gorge when you feel like you’re forcing yourself to eat in the first place

Okay that's what I'll do. I still have to finish off the food I can't waste food but I'm going to reduce my bread intake by 90%. Same with my cereals that should slow the urges down. Are there any beans I could add to my breakfast? Also how many eggs do you think? I ate three right now, I used to do four but it's too expensive to do four.

I love breakfast food, and ate a good light breakfast everyday when I was off work for Covid. Haven’t been able to get the schedule working to wake up early enough. Should leave for work around 7:45, 8 at the latest. So that puts waking up before 6 so I can develop an appetite…

I don’t drink soda/ tea or sweets, but godam do I like sauces, and they’re all sugary. Beer battered fish with tartar or remolaude hits the fuckin spot. Even healthier pork or chicken, marinades are way bad. Gotta get back to my “polack” diet: pork, cabbage and a few perogies

I eat a lot of greens and a couple of eggs. It's just the damn cereal, i pile the cereal in.
