This is dangerous health advice. That guy in the video is a midwit CLOWN.
The fake "I play a doctor on TV" guy's math is retarded. He assumes that all vitamin D (which metabolizes to calcidiol in the body) magically disappears after 24 hours and starts from zero. Seriously, watch the video. He's like "her der only 80% is absorbed" "her der you need 10,000 IU every day to hit the right vitamin D levels".
Well, calcidiol doesn't magically disappear from the body after 24 hours right before you take vitamin D pills. It's half-life is 15 DAYS.
So by this retard's own made up variables, if you take 10,000 IU daily, and 80% is absorbed, you'll have the right calcidiol levels for a day, but on day 2, you'll be nearly double the right levels. You'll start to OD in a few days, because the half-life is every 15 days, and you are taking 100% of what you need over that 15 days EVERY day!
The truth is, he is making up the 80% absorption figure and he doesn't even have the IQ to ask "how long does calcidiol persist in the body"?
That actor with his whiteboard is a fucking midwit who you should never, ever take health advice from, because anyone with half a brain can see his video is full of holes and total bullshit.
Newsflash, 80% isn't absorbed and metabolized. It's highly dependent on the individual and generally lower. Some people need 10k IU's daily, most don't.
If you want to figure out how much vitamin D to take, get a fucking blood test. Take supplements at a specific rate, and get another blood test. Repeat until you are at the right levels of calcidiol in your blood. Don't guess. If you are going to guess, 4000 IU is generally safe for most adults with a normal body weight, but not fucking 10,000 IU every day. Not without a blood test to make sure your levels aren't too high. Too much Vitamin D is not good. Look it up.
