I guess you don't know about nicotine and neonicotinoids, permethrin and pyrethrin and solanine. All are produced in plants and have been used as pesticides. Potatoes and tomatoes...and all the nightshade family produce nerve agents. Look them up.
We did NOT selectively breed plants to produce their own pesticides. We did that with genetic engineering. Using plant derived pesticides is not the same as engineering plants to create their own pesticides.

The plants have been grown in toxic soil with toxic methods that mutated them and the result is less nutrients and dead soil.
