Are you eating this?

Are you eating this?

Every bit of food we have has been altered, including what you might grow in your own garden. All of which we eat today is the product of a very long process of changing our food by selection and engineering. Modern food crops do not resemble their ancestors and are more calorie/energy dense than even the same crops produced just 50 years ago. Plant sugar content has gone way up and vital nutrients have gone down by selecting plants for those characteristics and producing new cultivars from them. Livestock has been changed similarly but with more engineering rather than simple selection. Everything is altered. Everything is poisoned to some degree. We are long past the time of natural foods. You can pretend what you grow yourself is natural, but the truth is you're only just choosing to accept the lie you tell yourself to virtue signal. It's all poisoned.

No it isn't. You can easily buy heirloom seeds. There's even a non profit that does this.

And how far back do those heirloom seeds go? This has been going on since man started farming. You needs seeds that are hundreds of years old to get us back to a closer to natural version of them. Those seeds will grow fruits and vegetables that are nothing like you would see today so don't expect them to taste or look the same. There are hundreds of varietals of bananas in existence yet we eat a small handful of modified cultivars because the rest are practically inedible because they are hard, have giant seeds and taste bland at best or like shit at worst. Heirloom seeds are just slightly behind their contemporary counterparts and are still fucked with.

I'm talking about seeds that predate genetic engineering. No, I don't want to eat wild plants that were the predecessors of modern vegetables.

Old spam cans are the only way to health.

Causes

Ankylosing spondylitis has no known specific cause, though genetic factors seem to be involved. In particular, people who have a gene called HLA-B27 are at a greatly increased risk of developing ankylosing spondylitis. However, only some people with the gene develop the condition.

Risk factors

Men are more likely to develop ankylosing spondylitis than are women. Onset generally occurs in late adolescence or early adulthood. Most people who have ankylosing spondylitis have the HLA-B27 gene. But many people who have this gene never develop ankylosing spondylitis.

This is just some woman making shit up and calling it science. As most bullshit "New age medicine" is.

Whilst processed foods are indeed poisonous, ankylosing spondylitis is a really f*d up diagnosis. That gal is in for a world of pain and disability. I watched a neighbor deal with that and it was horrible. Costco sells some of the tastiest and indeed unhealthiest food merch on the planet.
