Ease down, chopper. I already agreed with you that most people are adapted to tolerate plants.

However, I wasn't aware that the lady in the video resembled an Inuit. (????)

Eat plants. It's fine. No one cares. Just spare me bullshit about necessity or muh glucose.

Hmmmm. compare one lady to all of human history and anthropological records? Yeah, I'm going to go with how our Ancestors ate and how Bears currently eat (very similar). Glucose is necessary for fast energy-burning/ fast-twitch muscle from my research. I will try to find a source for you on that.

This source describes the Glycogen levels in Athletes. If you are an athlete glucose matters. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6019055/

Regarding glycogen - your body if keto-adapted and running on keytones will probably naturally produce convert all the glycogen you need. Keytones are associated with other longevity hormones.

However, IDC. If I was an athlete I would experiment and work out what worked best with my physiology.

We have very little clue how our ancestors ate, unless they are very recent. Getting back past 3,000 years is difficult. Getting back past 10k is all but impossible. Worse, none of the plants which are available today were eaten by them, and most resemble nothing they ate. They are genetically manipulated and utterly hybridized and altered. Despite the fact that you are not a bear, you may tolerate planets very well. Not everyone does/can.

The extreme athletes are known for various carb loading techniques, and other performance-enhancing practices. They typically do everything to manage their biology in a very regimented way. I don't know how much one has in common with the next. If you're in a performance-type activity, you are probably already customizing everything for your body and movement. The biomechanics of an individual will always be personal. However, that has nothing to do with a normal human diet.

Vegans are getting sarcopenia, and we're being bombarded with bullshit about saving the planet. Virtually every person on the planet can live a good, healthy and sustainable life eating nothing but animals, electrolytes and water. Disease may require interventions, minerals, etc. There are deficiencies that exist for various people, Lots of carnivores are supplementing with iodine, just like the plant eaters. Magnesium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, and Sodium Chloride are the primary electrolyte/mineral combinations.

Some people need more calcium - which can be address with sardines, or pulverized eggshells. However, the meat w/fat is king.

If you aren't an Athlete and sit on your ass most of the time you definitely can be a Strict Carnivore and won't need glucose for your fast-twitch muscles. And yes we do have a clue how our Ancestors ate, there are contemporary tribes right now and Anthropological Records with actual bone density charts I can find and send over to you. The closer to "Bear" diet they ate, the healthier.
