I'm not old at all but I'm old enough to be looked up to by teenagers. I tell young men to put away the porn, put down their mobile phones, and take girls out on dates. Take them out. Don't loaf at the house watching Netflix. Go to the park. Go fly kites. Go water skiing, etc. Get out and do stuff with girls. That author did a GREAT job of capturing the poison of porn. It absolutely ruins marriages. If I could boil down the list of very simple life advice: 1. Get out of the house as often as possible and do things outside or just have adventures. 2. Stay away from porn. 3. Make love to your wife often and with care (take care of her, don't just get yours). 4. Get as much of an education as possible - never stop learning. 5. Set a damn budget and learn how to control your desires. 6. Don't judge others as much as you reasonably can (this means you can judge a pervert as dangerous to be around your kids but don't look down on others in almost all situations - all of us have weaknesses/are sinners). If you can do those 6 things, all the other things in life will fall into place. You'll be a better family member, father, citizen, employee, etc. @Titus_of_Voat, thanks for sharing this content. Many many young men (and now young women) need to be shown this and talked to about the dangers of porn. I've had to fire people at work because their addictions spill over into the workplace. It literally ruins lives.
