3% overweight in Japan vs 30+ % in the US
I'm not really disagreeing with you that more Americans are fat than japs. There are also more Americans than japs in totality. I'm just pointing out that there is more to it than just diet. I mean you could argue that Japan must be a miserable place because their suicide rate is higher than ours. It's not quite as simple as we want it to be. I do think Americans could do a better job of promoting a healthier lifestyle, but I'd rather let people decide for themselves what they want.
Oh I totally agree with the fat shaming culture. It has been normalized here and it shouldn't be.
Im certain more Americans commit suicide than Japs. Plus there is the point to be made that japs dont have BLM taking over their cities too
