I'd question your experience in MMA culture... you're not describing anything remotely similar to my 20 years in the sport.

So…you don’t roll around the floor with sweaty dudes? The mount position doesn’t have another man’s balls and ass on your chest? The guard position (to prevent the mount) doesn’t mean that you have to wrap your legs around another dude’s torso? No one in your gym is on roids, growth, coke or painkillers? You must have trained in a rare non-homo-erotic gym where everyone is a straight edge teetotaler like me.

lol. No to the roids, painkillers, etc. But yes to the actually training how to fight. It's not gay if you're actually training how to inflict pain on another human being. Your fear of homosexuality has really narrowed your view on things.

The cost benefit analysis told me it was definitely the wrong lifestyle choice for me. Being the toughest guy in a room is not important to me—ensuring that I don’t have to spend hours every week (or even just 30 minutes of my entire life) with a bunch of drug upped freaks, some of whom are latently homosexual frotteurs and have their sweaty bodies in close contact with my own is much more of a priority.

If I studied any martial art, it would be a striking one and completely drug and grapple free. But, again, I’m not 20 years old anymore, so having more time to do other things rather than trying to turn myself into Chuck Norris is more my speed. Ultimately, I’ll just stick a piece of metal in someone if I absolutely have to. I’m not squeamish.
