Don’t forget the drugs. And the documentary from the famous MMA guy (Mark Kerr?) who admits the drug culture. And all of the arrests (probably even more arrests than football). I have no fear of being touched by a man. I’d be fearful if I joined an MMA gym filled with creeps and weirdos.
Except drugs aren't a real problem, but you have to participate to know that. And all the arrests?... I've never seen any one arrested at an MMA gym. Oh.. and a documentary... that's right. Always worth letting other ppl tell you how to think instead of signing up for a free week. This all reeks of fear.... but whatever... do you and enjoy your plate carrier.
Why would I sign up if I have no interest. I’m sure I can sign up for free indefinitely for some sort of Jew club where there is a rampant drug culture and a bunch of sweaty dudes fondling each other. Maybe your gym doesn’t have that, but many do. Maybe there is no record of a arrest at a gym (although there probably are for roids), but tons of these guys are in the news for all sorts of nonsense from the middling competitors up to the champion level guys like McGregor, War Machine, Velsquez…and those are only a few. If I followed the sport, I could reel off probably 30 or 40 more who were/are top level competitors.
Also, while this is hearsay, I know a dude who was a maintenance guy in the building where the NY-based Gracies trained and he said the living quarters had dildos and vibrators laying around like throw pillows. Knowing what I know from my interactions with enough of these guys, I totally believe it.
I had one of those NY Gracie guys constantly nagging me to join his gym, because a lot of martial arts gyms/dojos are run like a pyramid scheme where they get encouraged to recruit for “promotion of the sport” or whatever. Basically helps them get their next belt. I must have told this one dude to fuck off 6 or 7 times. It is like Amway for drug-addled grapple faggots.
Millions of ppl train MMA every day, and you fear it because of a few dozen examples. I'm not judging your fear, but if you'd actually train for a week, you'll have your ignorance corrected, and the fear will be gone. You say you have no interest, but have judged a sport with accusations that are demonstrably false. Do you have an interest in correcting your ignorance? Try it... you might enjoy being around a like minded group of men, working to improve your damage dealing abilities. Or, sit on the couch in your plate carrier, and type on Poal about how much you know of MMA....
