The tissue samples in fast food restaurant showed it was 93% corn -- because farmers are relying on cheap corn to feed their cattle. And it's universal.
Thats not how that works. Cows dont turn into corn because they eat corn.
I knew a guy once who said in all seriousness he believed that corned beef came from cows fed only corn. I didn't disagree with him. Instead I added to his cow trivia by telling him, "Most people don't know this, but chocolate milk comes from brown cows." He deserved to know all the facts.
That was mighty white of you, sharing you vast knowledge to the kanz and sheet
Soooo Baby Oil comes from... OMGAAAAAAAAAAAWD!!!
Hey man. I play a video game with some friends on reddit. It has gorn cattle that turn into either hamburger or popcorn when you kill them.
So it is possible.
Oh, yeah? Explain the phrase, "You are what you eat." Checkmate!
Yeah. The title of the article is misleading as hell. It's a trash article and subby should feel bad for posting it. <runs away!>
Organic, grass fed, etc is all marketing bull crap. It's not healthier. They just slap a organic label on it. They still spray with pesticides, but "organic" pesticides. The dose makes the poison.
Yes, cattle naturally feeds on grass, but guess what they do to the grass those cows eat? You don't know. Grass is more likely to be contaminated by runoff versus grain. It's all politics and marketing to deceive people. Food manufacturing is a business and people will lie and deceive to get you to buy their overpriced food using scare tactics, flawed studies, etc.
You must be getting your beef from those NYC pastures.
From what I hear, American beef is pretty good compared to the rest of the world. The chicken in America is lousy. That's why no American would ever eat raw chicken much less rare chicken. That would be a very bad idea.
