Bet you didn't know that sugar and carbs (which convert to sugar quickly in your body) are transformed into cholesterol in your body. Cholesterol isn't just from meats and eggs. And cholesterol alone isn't the problem that causes clogged arteries. It's the sugar that causes the damage to the walls of arteries that then allows cholesterol to attach to those injured sites and accumulate. In fact, many doctors find that people who eat low fat diets have the greatest issue with clogged arteries because of their high sugar and carb intake.

Certain types can cause inflammation in arteries which can cause build up.

It really depends on the person, like allergies. There is no one size fits all.

Your body makes more than you could ever normally eat. It's as vital as oxygen.

Plus there's many different types of cholesterol, the typical three panel is very vague.

There is no one size fits all.

We all need oxygen!

I appreciate the need to be flexible when talking about issues as complicated as physiology, but let's not pretend that there aren't some general principles for human health that we should all observe.
