meat
Ever been to BBQ with a Mexican? An ex gf had some Mexican friends come over for a BBQ, they pull up in a, bondo-ed up, jalopy, seats torn out, yadda yadda.
pulled out a cooler with probably $500+ of steak in it. like most beaners they had a brood of kids and I'm sure got fat gibs.
if meat is on the program it should be limited to ground beef chubs or whole chickens
If they said the meat must be chicken or turkey, I'd be okay with that.
agreed, though SNAP is supposed to be supplemental. There is an argument that meat shouldn't be approved at all (I'm on the fence).
The idea would be they have to work for meat, but they can be supplemented cheap food like potatoes, rice beans.
