Unfortunately, it appears that garbage in = garbage out, applies to this article. Checking the referenced appendix (the same appendix referenced many times in the article), we find articles and studies evaluating daily temperature on mortality, what happened in some part of Europe in 2003, air pollution and death in Russia in 2010, the covid-19 lockdown and how it affected air pollution, both generally and in India, mixed in with Covid-19 articles covering various subjects (nursing homes, etc.), none of which seem specifically related to the article. I couldn't find anything presented about their actual data crunching for this specific article and to support their presented conclusions.
I call BS.
