Only difference between protein based vaccines and mRNA vaccines is that there would be variations in how much the mRNA is transcribed to proteins in different people bodies. You are still getting the protein, which is the cause of all the vaccine injuries and death, but I guess it's in a more controlled dose.

I would only take an experimental vaccine if the disease it is for posed a mortal risk to my life and could be guaranteed as safer than a flu shot.
