The fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is moral subjectivity and its consequences. God never told adam and eve to clothe their nakedness, they decided to do this to hide their parts on their own, the invented extraneous and subjective morality. Whether the fruit is metaphorical or not it doesn't matter because the effect was the same. Postmodernism is the seed of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, our plight today goes back to original sin.
