Cooper’s kinky claims are backed up by research conducted by sexual wellness brand plusOne, which found that women diagnosed with depression or anxiety found psychological relief in regular masturbation.

Translation: women need to be getting railed on the regular to be kept sane.

This sounds more like a"this fits the degenerative nature agenda" then any real clinical studies of depression or anxiety. If your not going to isolate the medication changes, and a show of other potential variables then you can make studies like this say anything that it is funded to do.

Clearly, it's just narcissism thinly veiled with ScIeNcE.

Men should not waste their power. We should use it on women to keep them from hysteria. The vibrator was created to treat women for hysteria.

From the article:

  • Before the 20th century, many women were treated by doctors for "hysteria" (sexual frustration) using genital massage to induce orgasm.
  • In medical journals of the early 1800s, doctors lamented that treating hysterics taxed their physical endurance.
  • In 1880, English physician Dr. Joseph Mortimer Granville patented the electromechanical vibrator.
