Go fishing, take shirt off if need be?
Could be sufficient, but you should measure your Vit D levels to be sure. Older folks, folks with compromised immune systems, genetic defects etc., may need to supplement at higher levels.
People who’ve developed a skin cancer from fighting for jews in the Middle East can no longer do the sun, supplementation is all we have.
Kevlar body armour but no hat? Do you get a purple heart for a melanoma? Those guys moaning about PTSD must be pissed at the sunburn crew.
Kevlar body armour but no hat?
They’re called helmets(made of Kevlar) not hats.
You do realize we have off time and aren’t always fully geared up, are in our PT outfits and out in the sun doing activities? Also our faces aren’t covered and we didn’t have Kevlar body armor in the beginning. You do realize you can get skin cancer from too much sun exposure even without sunburns and sun screen only last an hour or two.
Most of us have been out for years, Iraq started in 2003 Afghanistan 2001/2002
But thanks for the sarcasm, people with ptsd can still develop skin cancers and why wound we get Purple Hearts years later? Generally veterans don’t mock each other over any condition, we joke around in good fun but the mocking usually comes from ignorant civilians.
Skin cancer is not always the first thing people think about when looking at the health risks associated with military service. However, studies show that active duty military and veterans have an increased risk for skin cancer compared to the general population.
There you go faggot, head to your local VA and ask around and a lot of vets have or have had skin cancer and I bet they don’t think they deserve a people heart or think it’s funny.
