If there are variants, and that's a big 'if,' they can only be the result of evolutionary pressure from inadequate 'vaccines.' Very similar to the way modern superbugs emerged through the practice of mass prescribing antibiotics even for non-bacterial infections, and the failure to complete a course of prescribed antibiotics because the patient decides they feel well again. There is no such evolutionary pressure among the unvaccinated.
