Have not seen it. Lol, not sure I could stomach it. His dad was right. The disparity between the super mega wealthy and those that have done really, really well for themselves is insane let alone the disparity between them and the average working stiff. A corporation it seems, at some point become a juggernaut that just takes on a life of its own and becomes this uncontrollable twisted greed filled machine swallowing everything in its path to maintain and expand its existence mattering not wether by good or evil. Then there’s those like FB, Twitter and the like, most likely spawned from the evil side of the above that become these monstrous spoiled rich brats who think they are gods and want to devour and rule over the world. The sad and twisted part is we are all forced one way or another to feed into the machinations that chew us up. One can try to limit that as best they can, but there is a price paid for that too.

Very true about most corporations.

You should watch it though, he’s the nicest one of the bunch that gets followed and at least one other kid gives a glimpse of what they think of the peasants.

I believe the parents of one of the other kids own some casinos abroad, he’s arrogant as hell and tells people he could buy them with his wealth. He says so many arrogant things that he eventually stops filming and has an attorney send notice that they’ll be sued if they use any footage.

Too bad he’s 18 and signed a waiver, they still air him.

Exceptions to every rule. I know a kid who’s parents have huge money from a well known corporate conglomerate that is about as down to earth as can be and is content with a life on the beach selling t-shirts to get by. His siblings are of the other variety. That’s not to say though that if shit were to go south on him he’d have to suffer much if he didn’t want to. Having a golden parachute to pull the rip cord on I’m sure helps with his having what seems to be a most carefree and humble life. While I like the guy, there’s an “air” about him that makes me keep my distance.

I’ll look for the documentary, I’m sure it’s one they hope would just disappear!

There’s always exceptions to the rule. I believe one of the kids was doing this for a college class project and didn’t know it would get so much attention from his professor and eventually released. But this is his group of friends that he had went to private high school with on the east coast.

One of the major corps I worked at for a short time after leaving the military is an amazing company, the kids didn’t get into the business and the whole family including the other founders family are completely down to earth but that’s first generation money.

They’re worth billions I see the son online, he started a winery but as you say has an air about him. It doesn’t matter if he turns a profit or there’s a drought he can just wait until next season. The two founders are “classic liberals” I know that at least the son is more on the liberal side and got to know the big shots in Silicon Valley and he seems to have changed and just has a vibe about him now, I can’t explain it.
