I think we should go with the middle-finger salute. Everyone knows it, and knows how to give it. It's subtle but distinctive. And it has no Nazi associations.

Do you gentlemen realize that we instinctively Roman salute? Our arms just don't quite lock in extension of the hand. Idk... That's just how I greet other friendly people.
