And if you had any fears that the virus might kill you, then you wouldn’t view the risk as unnecessary.

Again with the assumptions. I'm not making this debate about me. It's about how some of the readers would perceive it. I have my own reasons for or against the vaccine or the virus. I'm speaking on behalf of the people who may be unreasonably afraid of other people for one reason or another due to their own understanding.
And yet you have failed to demonstrate that any reasonable portion of people who don’t fear the virus enough to get the vaccine would fear the virus enough to isolate themselves because of a news article
I'm attempting to interpret the angle of the article. The people can think whatever they like. But the article was clearly trying to undermine the trust people should have amongst each other with fear, uncertainty, and doubt. It's not the people that I'm bothered with, it's the tactic of the article that's the most insidious. That's been my point all along and you kept getting sidetracked by my playing devil's advocate.
