Considering J&J's track record I would say their vaccine might be the biggest mass murder item even more than Pfizer.
Look I hate JnJ (like HATE - won’t get into details but have a long relationship with them and their management) and being skinny, pregnant, and not over 60, have no immediate plans for any vaccine.
However, I’m definitely watching their vaccine. I’d much rather have a more traditional vaccine than this mRNA bullshit. But that’s just me. I have moderate asthma and although the jury is out whether that affects things negatively or positively, that’s also in the back of my mind. Suffocating to death is a real fear of mine and I’d like to avoid it. Crazy, I know.
If you’re worried about ingredients in the vaccine, you can actually get the list of them prior and do your research. Again, I’m not saying to get a vaccine - just letting you know.
As a whole, being a math major, I can’t be a total anti-vaxer. The net positives are undeniable. However, I do also believe that vaccines can probably trigger autism in some young kids. Anything can trigger anything in children. For our swimming teacher, the first swimming class triggered instant death in one of her toddler students - just the excitement of swimming. Does that mean I didn’t give my kids swimming lessons? No. Life is just fucked up and we do the best we can.
I do think it’s super weird we’re so terrified by an illness with a death rate within spitting distance of the flu though. Like what?
I don’t look at that. Am I supposed to? I’ve never much cared for gpas and such... nor what people thought of me. Am I violating something? Is it good news? 😂
