you know I was trying to find a decent link... its all clickbait, i will write short description

TM is about breathing, and total relaxation. Once you discover that you introduce mantras, these you discover on your own. there is no "this what you use for mantra"

I should add, a mantra could be a bird in the air... or lion walking in the wild. it is to you to discover once you reach that state

I have been meditating for like 20+ years, I can enter into almost instantly now. It serious saved my life and continues to.

if you dont like the idea of TM there is many forms meditation, chose what is right for you.

Mantras are not needed. At least for me. About 10 years now.

for myself it was, i made a quick edit to explain a little more that mantras dont have to "sayings" but ideas and thought. It really is different for every person.

Do you do it specific times of day?

it is usually before bed, I have chronic insomnia

when insomnia kicks in this is what I do. i have had like 4-8 hours sleep the past few days. but doing this has helped me. usually by third night you start to have lucid dreams... but you are not really sleeping, just awake and dreaming. Hard to explain

I recommend this for begginers, also this dude has some pretty spot on views of what's happening in the world right now from a psychologist point of view. He's not /our guy/ but he's against PC and cancel culture, anti lockdowns and comes from a martial arts background so draw your own conclusions.
