I'm not a huge fan of Thomas DeLauer.

Just because a food contains estrogens, that does not necessarily mean that eating them impact the levels of estrogen in our bodies.

His sources (in the description of the video) are pretty dumb. One of them is about horses, for Christ's sake.

Concerning soy specifically, this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19524224 found that "neither soy foods nor isoflavone supplements alter measures of bioavailable T concentrations in men."

And concerning dairy, this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19496976 found that "estrogens in milk were absorbed, and gonadotropin secretion was suppressed, followed by a decrease in testosterone secretion. Sexual maturation of prepubertal children could be affected by the ordinary intake of cow milk."

These two studies confirm what I said above, just because a food contains estrogen, that doesn't necessarily mean its consumption affects our hormones. It depends on the food.
