Burger King doesn't use a grill. There is a continuous motor-driven chain that feeds a wire rack through a flame box to cook the meat. That is why they call it flame broiled.

Oh. Maybe they do it differently in Australia and China because there's basically no difference between it and Mickey D's (McDonalds') burgers - at least as far as I can tell. Then again, I haven't worked for a burger king before, so I wouldn't know.

Last I checked, Hungry Jacks (same thing right?) Microwaves the fucken things.

Well fuck, that'd explain a few things. At least Maccas cooks them for 40ish seconds. Then again, they do microwave the odd shit, like specialty burgers or seasonal stuff.

Either way, as nasty as it is, Maccas has never made me sick. Whethet that's because they're clean, or the "food" cannot sustain life (such as bacteria and mould) is another thing entirely.
