My high school was on a week long ski trip. Booze and drugs were in short supply that year and people were desperate. We'd 'heard' that nutmeg would get you high so a classmate by the name of Andy brought some and on the 2nd night ingested about 1/2 of the container with a glass of milk. No one had any idea how much was a dose. This was well before the internet and we had no way of verifying various 'facts' that were circulated by word of mouth. Anyhow, we kept asking him how he felt but got the same response "So far nothing" and we eventually lost interest and got distracted by other things. The next thing I hear is that Andy crawled into his sleeping bag and wasn't moving. Being the caring, responsible teenagers we were we then ignored him. He didn't leave the sleeping bag for 2 1/2 days. Pissed himself repeatedly. Word got around that Andy was 'sick' and eventually a teacher came by to check, but left after telling us to keep an eye on him. The teachers were all busy having their own fun no doubt. Later on when we quizzed Andy about the trip he claimed he really couldn't remember much, so we were none the wiser on just what it was like to do nutmeg. But no one else was willing to give it a try. We took a lot of drugs in high school and did some whacky shit, but only Andy had the balls to try nutmeg. After that experience Andy's nickname at school was Android. I recall now that there were a few guys who managed to smuggle in some alcohol and they got pretty hammered one night. I'll never forget one guy that nobody liked very much, stripped to his underwear, covered in shaving cream and granola, staggering across the snow covered parking lot while slurring something along the lines of "Gee guys how could you do this to me???". We didn't care, we were the cruelest creatures known to mankind: teenagers. Funny but those are the only memories I have of that trip. I know that I skied but have no recollection of the slopes. Oh I also recall jerking off in the cabin's tiny shower once.
