Looking at the snack packs you can gift an inmate. The “protein” pack caught my eye…. It’s mostly crackers.

I did some quick math and they’re charging approximately $12/lb for crackers, a pinch of peanuts, and a few tiny tiny processed meat sticks. Holy shit.
