The quote says no such thing. Read it again

There's no point trying to imply that I can't read. Back when Mark Twain was a contrarian, the majority upheld different standards and norms. And he's only really talking about Europeans.

Reflecting upon a belief is a precursor. Contratrian is a post belief action.

The two are not equivalent

No but social distance and wear 5 masks for safety first safes extra plus gud safes sake

“Nigger.” -Mark Twain

Twain was a rabid anti-slavery activist and nigger lover. So many articles out there talking about it too, like: https://www.themarginalian.org/2014/10/24/mark-twain-on-slavery-empathy-compassion/

He was one of the pilgrim's society, wasn't he? Why do we revere him?
